Sunday 31st October 2010 – 11am
day 3 of mini break started early with breakfast at 7:30am – bacon, poached eggs and mushrooms plus an additional serving of mushrooms – am paid up member of mushroom addicts – lol
This followed another good nites sleep, despite my cough, am going to treat myself to a pair of new pillows like the ones @premier inn.
my cough is worse and i now appear to have a temperature – am strugling to breath without coughing so am sucking cough sweets.
Had a great day yesterday culminating in watching 2 barn owls out hunting at dusk, one of which flew directly over my head, noiselessly.
Had tea at Wells again but tried different chippy, and i found the fish to be much nicer.
We both have one question though n that is does our car have a message on it saying if u drive in front of us please drive like a moron, this weekend we have been behind cars that would brake every time they saw a car coming in opposite direction, cars towing trailers and swaying all over road at 20mph oblivious to a huge queue behind them.
have managed to get some cross stitch done seem to have found stitching mojo again yipee.
Just a couple more hours before we need to start our journey home and pick up our little man from his nan’s, so he can go trick or treating….

Friday 29th October 2010 – Update @ 09:30am
After a sleepless night as described in previous update I have been and got weighed and as predicted I gained weight 4lbs, which if I admit it is less than I thought it was going to be.
So am off to Norfolk with a little spring in my step and am going to try and make good food choices each day. I am taking lots of fruit with me and have also (at the last minute) put in a couple of packets of couscous and a mugshot too. At least I can make the couscous up in the mornings and take it out with me as lunch – I can buy some salad and/or meat from a shop if needed.
Am all packed and ready to go am just waiting for hubby to get ready now.
I will try and update blog each day via my mobile but it will depend on the reception I get in Norfolk,as it is a bit unpredictable.
Friday 29 October 2010 – 01:45am
Have already been to bed but have had to get up due to feeling rather bilious - I think I went too far off plan yesterday and during the past 10 days that my body is finally telling me to stop!!
So here I am having a cup of tea and updating my blog, having made a momentous decision about the future. I have spent lots of time over the past week thinking about what to do about my weight and I know that SW does work for me BUT I have to make it work for me. I need to stop messing around as I am wasting money.
It is 1st November on Monday – the beginning of a new month so its going to be New Day, New Week, New Month, New Start – and I will stick to plan 100% – and I think I will go back to RED/GREEN days during the week and just do EE at weekends.
I will enjoy this weekend, as I have said before I don’t want to be thinking SYN values and HE’s at all this weekend BUT from the time I go to bed on Sunday evening I will be back on plan. I am going to take my SW pack with me to re-read whilst I am away.
At the moment my own father weighs less than me and I do not want that situation to be around much longer – I would still like to get my Club 10 (weigh 17st) by Christmas – I can do this I know I can.
Alicia if you are reading this blog – I am sorry I have let myself and you down but I just needed to rebel for a while, but my heart and my head are ready to start losing weight now…..
Thursday 28 October 2010 – 16:00 – update
Hi, i am coming to the end of a 2 week break away from SW as i was stuck in a rut and my personal circumstances were not condusive to staying on plan, and this weekend i am going away with my hubby on our own for 1st time in nearly 10 yrs and i do not want to be thinking SW, HE’s and SYNS at all during our time away. S…o I know i am gonna be a food sponge n soak up everything in site…lol
Today I have eaten 3 x McDonald Sausage n Egg McMuffins, 1 Packet of McVities Choc Biscuits and lots of jelly teddy bears and to be honest I do feel very sick right now but at the time all of the above were very nice…
But here’s the plea for help – from monday I will be back on plan properly, as if i was a new member, and trying to shift some of the weight that I have gained to limit the damage on the scales – so can i count on support from my SW buddies?
Thursday 28th October 2010 – 8:00am
Half term holiday’s alway’s mess up my diet – so this week I am not staying on plan…
I have eaten what I want and to be honest it has made me feel quite ill
Today am taking Ben down to stay with his nanny & grandpa for a few days and hopefully that means I can regain some control today at least.
Tomorrow Kevin and I are off for a weekend away ON OUR OWN!! we haven’t been away on our own since Ben was born, so we are looking forward it immensly.
We are only going to Norfolk and are stopping at a Premier Inn in Thetford and are going to totally spoil ourselves by eating out for both lunch and tea as well as having a full english every morning!!
We will be doing lots of walking whilst we are birdwatching round the North Norfolk Coast so hopefully I can walk off some of the food I eat…lol
So come monday I will be back on plan with the eyes on of a newbie and hopefully that will give me the spurt I need.
I will try to update my block everyday, but will record all that I eat – it could be X rated in terms of Slimming World….

Well after last nites adventures (Kevin had to go out on an alarm call at the garden centre til late), he decided he was going to finish early so that they could go have hair cut this afternoon.
After haircut went to Tesco and ended up visiting Costa Coffee – where my good day went downhill when I couldn’t resist a triple choc muffin (which was 26.5 syns when I checked later!) and a Skinny Latte.
Knowing I had gone over my syns for the day when we did the shopping I went into I may as well have what I want mode, so into the trolley went:
1 x Tesco Lasagne
1 x Garlic bread baguette.
Once at home I decided that maybe I was being a bit OTT and put the Lasagne in the freezer and got out a WW lasagne.
Then I decided I wouldnt have the garlic bread and put it in the fridge for tomorrows Pizza nite that Ben n KEvin are having.
After a while I returned the WW lasagne to the freezer having decided on
Left over Chilli Con Carne (home made) with SW Chips.
So I think I have managed to do some good damage limitation!!

MID AFTERNOON PROFOUND THOUGHTS..
This is a copy of something I wrote on a FB friends wall in response to her request for a “kick up the bum”, and for me its had a rather profound effect as I hadnt really thought of the cost of coming to SW every week.

Mum and dad coming over today so have got a very excited Ben on my hands.
We are going down to the Garden Centre for lunch and I will be having Jacket potato for lunch – I will post a photo later.
